Woodworking has been a part of my life since I was young. I grew up on a farm and my dad ran a metal fabrication shop with a small wood shop in the corner. With a little help here and there I figured out how to turn a pile of boards into something. When I first started building furniture to sell to other people, I incorporated a lot of steel scrap from my dads shop and wood that I salvaged from job sites when I was a carpenter.

Now I am hooked on modern design and its different forms from Mid-Century to today. It has been exciting to see furniture design progress with modern technology and computer operated machines. The next phase in my furniture designs will hopefully involve more of this technology.
